I have used Eley Sport for more than 12 years - and Eley Sport was replaced by Eley Target (at least in the USA). Great, accurate and consistent ammo. Good for target rifles, target pistols and just all round plinking. Very quiet with a suppressed 22LR rifle or pistol. Fair price from Foundry Outdoors

I have been a die hard Lapua fan for a while now but I deided to give Eley Target a try today. Using the Eley ammunition my custom Kidd 10-22 jammed for the first time ever. Actually, it jammed twice during the first 20 rounds with the Eley Target; nevertheless, I found the ammunition to be quite accurate. I did a second test today and this time I broke out the Chrony. Today's results were quite different as I experiened no further jams and the Eley Target actually outperformed the Lapua Center-X by a small margin. The Eley's Stdev. was 8.8 with a spread of 31 compared to the Lapua Center-X with a Stddev. 10.6 and a spread of 39 respetively. Both rounds produed some very tight groups; however, the Eley Target's were tighter by a small margin. Despite the two jams I was very impressed with the Eley Target and would no hesitate to recommend it to others. As always thanks to Foundry Outdoors for the great price and Quick shipping.
